Introducing Shercock Credit Union’s NewMember Foreign Currency Exchange!
You spoke – we listened! As a result of our recent member survey, Shercock Credit Union is delighted to introduce it’s new Foreign Currency service in partnership with FEXCO, exclusively for its members!
Members can now order foreign currency either through Shercock Credit Union’s office or commission-free online, delivered straight to Shercock Credit Union for collection.
Currencies are normally ready for collection within two days but some exotic currencies can take up to seven days. Fexco will guarantee transaction rate for two days after the member’s order arrives. Email and SMS updates are provided by Fexco as soon as the member’s order is ready for collection.
Ordering and Collection
Please note:
- *You will only be able to pay from your shares if you do not have a loan with a higher value than your share balance.
- You must bring proof of identification when collecting your order.
Through the Office:
Simply call in to the office during opening hours and our staff will process your order. We will let you know at the time of ordering how much your order will cost you, and we will confirm with you when you can expect to receive your currency. Currency can be paid for from your shares* or by cash over the counter.
Through the FexCo website:

Under Section 1.1, enter the currency amount in Euro and your required currency. Fexco will calculate how much local currency you will receive for your Euro amount, so that you can amend your Euro amount accordingly. Leave the Reference field blank.
Under Section 1.2, select Shercock Credit Union from the location dropdown list:
Click the Next button.
Under Section 3, complete your contact details:
To complete your order, click the Finish button.
